Alissa Medina Beaulieu is the 34th and current president of the Democracy of Torisakia, and the second woman to old the office. Born in East Lake City, Beaulieu attended East Lake City University and it's prestigious School of Law, Joel A. Hanson Law School. She worked as a city district attorney for Tokai from 2001 to 2008. She served one and a half terms as a city district senator for East Lake from 2009 to 2014, when she started her campaign for president in April of that year.
Beaulieu's election into the Senate gained her national attention as she was the first woman to run for the position and win in East Lake City's history as a city district. She originally began her presidential campaign in 2011, for the 2012 Torisakia Federal Elections. However, she would not win the primary campaign over other New Democratic Party member and future president Johnson Crandall.
