Conservatives (Darkmanian: Känservatÿve) is a centre-right political party in Darkmania, founded in 12 September 1879. Its one of the biggest parties in Darkmania and often considered the "dominant right-sided party". It is also one of the oldest parties in Darkmania. Since 2015, it has been led by Ädym Tërmaske with his wive Klära as the official spokesperson of the party. Conservatives are the official opposition party of the current assembly of Darkmania as of 2019.

History

Foundation

On 14th March 1869, King Cärnter VI (6th), pressed after the demonstrations, announced massive reforms, today known as "The Democratic Spring". The first election took place in September that year, resulting in 153 seats for the reformits with the remaning 98 seats for the tradionalists. Worried that the king's power would be stripped away, they began to protest loudly. They became known as "Trädyls" (Slang for traditionalists) who as used to refer to them and are today a nickname for a conservative darkmanian voter, often used as a pride toward their conservative stans.
