Etymology

Asirland's name comes from the old Asir phrase, a-ser, meaning without boundaries. There are numerous other theories as well, including the one that argues that Loresians, while invading the north, could have easily meant a-ser, which in their language meant 'the services'. Their ultimate purpose was indeed obtaining services from this country, so this claim is also veritable. Another theory states Slavic people in the west could have given the country its name. Whatever the reason may be, the name holds till date.

Geography

Keztenovye Pahaste

Above is a picture of Netralvyet, a very famous hill station in the Keztenovye Peaks. It's situated about 70 km north of the capital city, along a mountain road.

The mountains, formed by the pushing of the south Asir plate with the Aranoviti plate, are young fold mountains which have always been a centre of Asir myths and are still considered marvels of nature. The peaks, crossing more than 5,000 m. in height, are among the tallest in the region. Research is still going so as to which peak among the so many in the tallest. The claim, for now, is the Shemchev'ot Pahast, reaching 6,453 m. in height. The Keztenovye are divided into various groups still, based on their height and longitude. They are, namely:

  • Gangezoú Pahaste
  • Zemloti Past
  • Segrod Pahaste

The Keztenovye were incredibly essential in the formation of the Asir civilisation, as they provided the rivers with all the necessary silt and water. The most important river in the country, the Gangezoú, flows from these peaks. The rivers are rich in sedimentary rocks, alluvium and other necessary materials needed for the fertility of the soil. Keztenovye Peaks make a up a stunning 65.56% of the northern Asir landmass.

Sundratska Bometsk

The plains, or the Sundratska Bometsk as they are known locally, are the most populous regions of the country, stretching all the way from the city of Jangughatérr to the southern states of Levona and Tamalção. These plains are well irrigated thanks to the numerous rivers snaking through these regions. There are beautiful valleys in the north, and picture-perfect coves in the south. The northern plains are further subdivided into:

  • Upratska (Jangughatérr)
  • Bicatska (Ïteh and Eldnybome)
  • Nicatska (southern states)

There are nine major urban centers in this region - Jangughatérr, Greenledorré, Ïteh, Eldnybome, Craveneims, Saint-Pierre, Nouveau Cruché, Medrefsopetnem and Mavdward. Pictured below are, in order, Greenledorré, Jangughatérr and Medrefsopetnem.
