The Tarperti federal election, 2017 was the fifth election in Tarper. It was held on 24 September 2017. This election elected 709 members to the Federal Assembly of Tarper using single transferable vote representation.

The resulting government coalition was the Socialist Party, Green Liberation Union, and Communist Party with a combined majority total of 418 seats. Maximilian Herzog continued with his Chancellery. Two weeks after the Assembly sat the GLU suffered two defections from centrist members. These members have not aligned with any party so far, but it is speculated that they belong to the Ecological Voters' Union.
