Altaland

Altaland was the general starting point for the present-day nation of Mexregiona. It included many groups, most of them warring states, the most important of them being the Altalandian Empire. The Empire conquered much of the area roughly 4,000 years ago, murdering hundreds of thousands and perhaps even millions. They shaped the history of the region and much of the culture of the western half of the continent. Today, Altaland may refer to the northern regions of Mexregiona. It may also refer to areas where there are large populations of Modern Altalandians, such as the Mexregional Island of Louisianaia and parts of Southern Tretrid.
