Stromism, also known as the New Order or Neo-socialism, is a political ideology created and advocated by Valdyr Strom in 2016 which incorporates elements of socialism, statism, collectivism, environmentalism, and progressivism. The central tenet of a Stromist society is that social hierarchy should be based upon how much individuals give back to society, as opposed to the accumulation of wealth or ancestry. Stromism also advocates state ownership of the means of production, and the redistribution of wealth. Followers of Stromism are known as either Stromists or Neo-socialists.

Components

Class Socialism

Stromist theory states that the quality and luxury of an individual's life should be decided based on their worth and contribution to society as a whole. This is done by enforcing a class system that fully depends on the importance of the occupation of an individual, and granting higher wages and more luxurious goods and services to those of higher class than others.

New Society

Another section of Stromist theory calls for the elimination of the perceived "Old Society", which is viewed as corrupt, regressive, and racist by Stromist theory, and it's replacement with the New Society, fashioned with new beliefs. New Society policies usually include the elimination of intolerant thought, the complete removal of religion from state affairs, and population control. Some New Society policies also include sexual liberalism and abolition of international copyright laws.

Environmental Harmony

Stromist theory supports the co-existence of modern, industrial civilization with the Earth's biosphere, and supports the creation of urban green areas, as well as the re-naturalization of abandoned urban areas and the creation of wildlife reserves. This also includes progressive policies in the rights of animals, and supporting the use of environmentally friendly means of producing goods.

Statism

In a Stromist society, the state has total control of all property. Property belonging to certain individuals is seen as the state lending or giving the property to said individual so he or she can use it for what he or she desires.

Collectivism

Stromist theory states that society cannot function without the collaboration of every single member of society. Those who do not contribute are viewed as a burden and are often shunned by Stromist scholars.

Third Position

In practice, Stromism usually adopts a unique variant of a mixed economy based on the Third Position. In this economy, all property and the means of production are owned by the state as described above, but goods are distributed through a regulated market economy where the government grants certain individuals control of businesses, receiving most of its profits in exchange.
