Macknotic International is an English-based multinational conglomerate company headquartered in Ruhnu City, Ruhnu, Ruhn-i-Leht. It comprises numerous subsidiaries and affiliated businesses, most of them united under the Macknotic brand, and is the largest business conglomerate headquartered in the Ruhn-i-Leht.

Macknotic (at the time known as AcTec) was founded by William Rose and Justine Warter in 1955 as a discount retailer. Macknotic entered the electronics industry in the late 1980s and the television and transportation industry in the mid-1970s. Following Justine Warter's death in 2006, Macknotic was separated into three groups – MaTV Ruhn-i-Leht (television), Macknotic PT (transportation) and Macknotic Electronics (devices) . Since that, Macknotic has increasingly globalized its activities, and electronics, particularly computers, have become its most important source of income.

Macknotic has a powerful influence on Ruhn-i-Leht's economic development, politics, media and culture. Its affiliate companies produce most of Ruhn-i-Leht's total exports.

Transportation

Macknotic PT manages all public transport and bridges in Leht. Public transport is available in all of Western Leht, as well as the largest isles in Eastern Leht. It has built more than 200 bridges in Leht, and was the lead of The Artish Bridge project - building a bridge that goes from Ruhnu City to Flaka, completed on August 22, 2015.

Macknotic PT make their buses themselves, as well as the trams that will use the Artish Bridge. They also create cars, though not many, as cars are banned in all of Ruhn-i-Leht, though Macknotic have special rights, as their cars can be located in the Ruhn-i-Lehtese island of Yxskar. Due to this, all of their buses, trams and cars are made on the island of Yxskar.

Macknotic Electronics creates electric devices and operating systems.

Computers

Macknotic is well known for their computer operating systems. Their latest operating system, Macknotic OS Nova, first in the Nova series, is used by 78% of the Ruhn-i-Lehtese citizens. Macknotic computers are used by 85% of Ruhn-i-Lehtese citizens.

OS History

In 1996, Macknotic OS One was released to the world. Whilst many called it a rip-off of Windows NT 3.5, it was available cheaper, and was graphically superior. In 1999, Macknotic OS Two was released. It focused on the technical ability of the operating system, and speeding up the computers. There were very little design changes. In 2005, Macknotic OS Three was released. It was quick, and design was changed. This did not impact the familiarity of the operating system. It was used by 84% of Ruhn-i-Lehtese citizens in 2007, the highest % recorded to date.

After the release of Windows 7 in 2009, many said that 'This is the end of Macknotic OS', as Macknotic had no chance of beating Windows 7. It was graphically the best that there was, and quicker then anything Macknotic had released. This made Macknotic Electronics cancel the release of Macknotic OS Four in 2010, as William Rose told the media that 'the operating system would not be the best option in the market for computer users, and thus should not be released'.

Though, shockingly, in 2012, Macknotic Electronics released Macknotic OS Four. The system was available free, and according to William Rose, was released 'as updating to it would speed up the PC and allow further updates'. This gave away that Macknotic are planning to release something new. As Windows 8 failed to meet the expectations, many Windows 8 users moved to Macknotic OS Four.

On December 25, 2014, Macknotic Electronics officially released Macknotic OS Nova, starting the Nova series. It more then exceeded expectations, as the system not only looked better then ever, it was the fastest available, and, comparing to Windows and Mac, cheaper.

Computer Creation

Whilst they're mainly focused on operating systems, Macknotic also make computers. Most of them are the standard box shape. They also make laptops, though their battery runs out quickly. These computers are made at their CCH (Computer Creation House) in Sund.

Phones

Macknotic creates phones as well - operating systems and devices. They have a lot of releases and updates, but most of them are available for free if you use Macknotic computers.

OS History

In 2003, Macknotic OS Mobile is released. Historical moment in the history of Macknotic. It is mainly just Macknotic OS Two for computers, just made more capatible with phones, and has standard phone functions. In 2012, Macknotic OS Mobile Updated is released. It is the shockingly released Macknotic OS Four's mobile version. In 2015, Macknotic OSP One is released, the first in the OSP (OS Pocket) series. It is Macknotic OS Nova, made more compatible with phones. The usage of it is a lot more similar to other phone operating systems, like Android or iOS, but also has the abilities of a computer, like Windows Phone.

Phone Creation

Phones are mass created in their DCH (Device Creation House) in England. The newest phone is Macknotic Phone Nine, released in 2015. It preceded Macknotic Phone Eight released in 2013.

Television

Macknotic operates most of television in the Ruhn-i-Leht. It is notable for the languages television is available in, as all channels air in Latvian, Letto-Ruhnese, Estonian, English, Finnish and Swedish. All of them are in HD. Below is the full list of Macknotic TV channels.
